Dr. Crockett

Dr. Rebecca Crockett, DVM

Dr. Crockett founded Cumberland Creek Mobile Veterinary Service in 2021. Her love and passion for animals developed as a child growing up in Smith County, TN, with her horses and an assortment of other pets. She was an active equestrian in 3-Day Eventing competitions for almost 25 years and successfully competed at the CCI3** level with her mare, B.B. Babauska. Dr. Crockett’s most beloved animal is her horse of 23-year duration, Babs.

In 2022, after a very long break from equestrian sports, her daughter, Emilia got her back riding horses as a hobby. It was not long afterwards that Dr. Crockett got her calling back to the 3-Day eventing sport. Dr. Crockett and Jake (Northern Sky) compete on the national level in USEA equestrian sports. Dr. Crockett was gifted back her homebred Thoroughbred in 2022. Jake was Babs’ last foal who was born in June of 2006.

After graduating with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 from the University of Tennessee, she completed a small animal one-year internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists. The internship included specialty rotations in surgery, neurology, internal medicine, behavior, and emergency medicine. She has experience working as an associate small animal veterinarian in the local Tennessee area.

Dr. Crockett and her husband, Nick, reside in Lebanon, TN, with their two children, Owen and Emilia on their family-owned century farm. They have four dogs, three horses, two ponies, two Sphynx cats, and lots of chickens. When not working, her focus is spending quality time as a family, riding horses, 3-Day Eventing, snow skiing, traveling, and tending to regular farm chores.
